Since new, nearly 10 years but pretty low mileage, low 1000s

You ever prized the seal off and added fresh grease? Might just hsve very little left.

ON the right track. Are the they closed tightly?

Yes, checked that and greased the contact surfaces (which IME can make a huge difference)

IME the BB is often the culprit.

Despite internet folklore where everything is checked and it turns to be the shoes or saddle etc - never rule out the BB

IME the BB is often the culprit

In several decades of creak finding, this is the very first BB for me, though I did have a loose eccentric shell once, so maybe two.

*Much* more common IME are saddle rails, QR fixings, seatpost fixings, pedal bearings, chainring bolts, wheel spokes, and attached bits like racks etc. I've even had three cracked frames causing creaks.

Just my experience, not saying it's generally the case. Maybe we should do a poll.
