No, they only stand on their hind legs. They don't walk.

Edit:

You're in the right neck of the woods though, geographically.

So what are the rules here? Is this a typical internet Trivia quiz, with no (insert your favourite search engine here)-ing for 24 hours, or whatever?

Assuming it is, then let's try this one.

Excluding marsupials and humans, name a bipedal mammal.

Homo Erectus
Chimpanzee

Cos I'm too thick??
I just didnt get his subtle answer.
He will have to split the prize.
Funny. It was a total give away to me. W

I read your question and said to myself "Hmm?" Saw his response, and realised "house numbers!" Nearly posted suggesting he wrap it in spoilers as it gave away the answer.

But good question and obviously good answer.

Off to contemplate mammals.

Homo erectus? They died out over 100,000 years ago. The chimp isn't habitually bipedal, although it can walk upright for short bursts. So can baboons, gibbons, and orang utans. But no, this animal walks on two legs almost all the time.

I was going to say bats but they rarely walk, preferring to fly on two hands. But they're bipedal when they're hanging upside down.
