It's experienced as an attracting force, but is caused by - at least that's a hypothesis that hasn't been disproven - a curve in space/time.

Nobody has done any rules for the thread, but I'm pretty sure that if they did, looking it up on Wiki would be the first thing disallowed.
I'm not entering, I'm just checking someone else's answer, so that fine.

And no one else is cheating, otherwise someone would have named a domesticated animal that is not a sheep, goat, cow, dog, chicken or pig a little faster than they did.

It's a bit more complicated than that...

I do remember reading about this. If memory serves it's not a western popular singer, but I can't remember whether it's an Indian or Chinese singer or a western classical musician or a non-musician.

It was a silly question, really. There is no way of knowing for sure, and I am very much a person who wants evidence for stuff before I'll accept it so I should have known better. The answer in my local pub quiz a few weeks ago was Streisand. However, with claimed sales anywhere between 250 million to 400 million, the person I was after was Nana Mouskouri, who doesn't even appear on the Wiki lists. Take your Wiki "facts" with some caution.

Anyone who has a question can jump in.
