The effects of age.......

You will see from the number of posts I have made, that I have been around the forum for a while now. Others who have too, may have noted which may have crept in to my ramblings. Well by way of explanation to the more youthful members, I offer the following:

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen.
The two gentlemen were talking, and one said, 'Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great.. I would recommend it very highly.'

The other man said, 'What is the name of the restaurant?'

The first man thought and thought and finally said, 'What is the name of that flower you give to someone you love?

You know.... The one that's red and has thorns.'

'Do you mean a rose?'

'Yes, that's the one,' replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled, 'Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?'

I was going to post this last night but I couldn't remember it

Two of our finest elderly citizens sat together in a tea room. After a while one says to the other 'I'm sorry but for the life of me I can't remember your name - please remind me'. The other sits for a few minutes with a blank look on her face and then says 'when do you need to know by?'
