The lack of observation from the Focus driver is bad enough, but her attitude....I'm disgusted. People like that should never be allowed to drive again. There is absolutely no way an observant driver would have missed that cyclist once hit by the first car. He could very easily have been killed.

The mind boggles - but of course it's a classic accident scenario.

The driver of the silver focus driving and attitude were absolutely disgusting, she just drove over the bike not knowing if the cyclist was still attached to it.

I've just watched this a couple of times and can't believe it!!! Was she seriously protesting that she didn't notice the bike...as she ran straight over it and dragged it along the road? I guess I'm just naive but didn't think that there were people out there like that!
Is it just a 'city driver' mentality thing?

It looks like he is having some trouble with the police and getting this case anywhere, I've let him know that I will help him out if he needs it.

According to the vid this happened over a week ago. Did the poster say anything about what happened since?

It's the not too common, fortunately, video's like this one that put things in to real perspective of how lucky I personally have been.

I certainly hope the police prosecute the focus driver to fullest possible.

Just saw it this morning as well, the chap who cut across him fair enough he owned up and it was a stupid impatient mistake, but this woman bloody hell. Not seeing the cyclist who just flew off his bike in front of you doesn't make it OK.

She should never be allowed to drive again. Her observation skills are obviously not to the required standard to be in control of a vehicle on the road. She had several seconds to spot that cyclist.

If he didn't have a cam no doubt she'd be telling the police he tried to climb under her car.

I can't believe how lucky he is to (hopefully) not be seriously hurt.
The attitude of the woman is incredible.
How could she not see the cyclist flying in front of her bonnet.

Fair up the man admits he was in the wrong but the daft women seems to be in denial, not a care in the world, disgusting!.

If the cyclist has no luck witht he police then well name and shame them on youtube should then get the medias attention.
