I have Scottish heritage and have got used to the disappointment. I tuned in at about 75 minutes to see how badly they were doing.
I could get excited about football if it was always like this. Celebrating like it was the final.

Are you kidding? Greece absolutely mullered you twice. Granted, you won one of those 3-1 but I think that's a view through tartan tinted specs.
(FWIW I've lived up here for 38 years and I'm really glad they're through).

Also worthy of note is Curacao who stuck 7 past Bermuda whist Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago drew last week and then held on to draw with Jamaica last night to finish top of the group ahead of both of them.

Smallest team ever to qualify for a a world cup!

Steve McClaren (remember him) has stood down as Jamaica coach, although Jamiaica aren't quite out, there is some 6 team shoot out tournament in Mexico with various other confederations for a place or two....

Another match which proves tactical time wasting is no longer an effective strategy. I wonder when coaches and players are going to realise this?

I've started checking results more closely to see when goals are scored. The number of matches in which the result is determined in 90+ minutes is high. Draws turn to wins, losses turned to Draws. I have no statistics but my gut feeling tells me the percentage of changed results in 90+ minutes is high.

I do wonder why coaches persist with the tactic. And as for keepers out of the area? Don't get me started!! 😂

No, I'm not.

He took a Killie side who were bottom of the league into Europe and has had us at the Euros twice and now a World Cup. He knows what he's doing.

Don't particularly understand why you're deriding Greece, who've won a tournament more recently than England.

I was puzzled last night - 6 minutes added time, no timewasting by Scotland in ET (rather unprofessional, I thought) and yet the Ref. went well into 8 minutes - sponsored by Lurpak, perhaps?

Those extra few minutes worked out well! 😂😂😂
FWIW, IIRC, the ref indicated for 1 extra minute for the 3rd goal celebrations. Don't know where the extra extra time came from.
