Next manager to go ???
Rude at Leicester has the enviable record of 6 straight home losses. 4 nil loss to Brentford.
I don't quite understand how it's gone so wrong for him there. From what I've seen it's not that the players have given up or look disinterested.
I agree.
I watched the match and was impressed with the effort but Brentford cut through the defence so easily.
Yeah, that's pretty much my take on it too. And RVN went 7 unbeaten at Man U so he clearly knows how to get players to work for him. Something ain't clicking and he needs to find out what it is sharpish.
That said, I think there's a stupid amount of focus on the Premier League as the mecca of football. The championship is great (as are the other lower divisions) and I'd rather my side were playing exciting and competitive matches there than getting routinely horsed in the top flight.
Well i never Arsenal dropping points,my word how wonderful would it be for Forest to finish runners up.It has been a long time since Mr Clough.
Amen to that. I want Rovers to be successful. I'd love the excitement of a win in the play off final. Not so sure I fancy a season of getting routinely leathered for 38 games.
Never really supported Posh but under Fry there was an oft repeated feeling that they (the management) would prefer to play well in a lower league than struggle if they got promoted. The attendances often plummeted if they did poorly and I guess gate numbers are very important to smaller clubs.
An example perhaps of lack of ambition at a management level for purely business reasons ?
Scrapping the playoffs would help. Its quite ridiculous that a team can finish into double figures points wise behind and end up getting promoted. If they want some way of keeping the season alive they could have the first three or four teams behind the promotion places in each division have a mini tournament between them with financial carrots and the lower team of a fixture allowed to choose where it is played.
Oh tasty game om TNT.Everton v Manure United.Really enjoyed it,i bet Mr Moyes is a bit sick.Neutrals a good game.how United woke up i have no idea, but what a free kick Fernandes.Short socks Pickford did not see it.
