I watched Accrington Stanley lose to Chesterfield today. We played ok and should've got a point for our efforts. Chesterfield filled the away end and half the new stand as they needed their win to secure a play off place. On another note, it was good to see Leeds win the Championship title on goal difference, beating Burnley to top spot!

Walsall, Wimbledon, Notts and Chesterfield in the league 2 playoffs. Suspecting a Wimbledon v Chesterfield final. Notts on past history have no chance, the only times they have gone up through the playoffs is when they have finished in the top playoff spot and if the playoffs did not exist would have gone up automatically.

Ah well. The dream is over for another year. Losses to Derby, Cardiff, Portsmouth and Stoke have cost us dearly. I blame the manager, five losses from his first six games wasn't good enough.

I've renewed my season tickets.
