I had a great laugh at the City goalkeeper and his dribbling skills,or lack off them.He is not the only one though.sadly i am a dinosaur and cannot for the life of me enjoy the tippy tappy crap that is on show everywhere. If god wanted goalies to dribble he would have made them centre forwards. There are ten outfielders to dribble.

I do not enjoy watching anyone dribble. 😉

I do wonder if this is what changed the Forest game against Burnley. They (Forest) had a pretty poor first half, got boo'ed off at half time apparently.
Then (reportedly) Periera let them loose, go and play, use your flair..and the whole game blew apart.
Too rigid, too constrained, first half?

Very possible. Certainly with the quality of attacking players Forest have, any Manager should be telling them to play with a certain degree of freedom. I know this was the frustration Forest fans had with Dyche, but I still think he would have kept them up. I am pretty confident they are safe now.

I wonder if the Spurs board regret sacking Thomas Frank? I am sure many Spurs fans might disagree, but I don't think they would have been near relegation had he stayed.

Odd thing is that Guardiola got rid of Joe Hart as he couldn't play out from the back. Obviously they had years of Ederson who was top class but they now seem to have gone back to a more traditional type of keeper with Donnarumma.

Yes, it's a sign that Guardiola thinks the game is changing. If you're not dealing with teams pressing you your goalkeeper doesn't really need to be your deepest lying playmaker anymore, and if teams are going man-to-man on you then playing it out from the back makes far less sense - may as bell boot it up the pitch and win the duels

I feel for James Trafford, they triggered his release clause, took him back from regular first team football and stuck him on the bench.
