Thanks Man City.

PS: Leicester fans were singing 'Champions of England, you'll never sing that' at Fratton Park last week. 1949 & 1950, actually....

I listened to the match on BBC Radio Manchester. I heard a tannoy announcement asking fans not to encroach onto the pitch near the end, or at the end of the game, followed by a loud mocking cheer suggesting it would be ignored. Then Rochdale scored in the 95th minute and on they went, totally ignoring the tannoy message. This obviously affected the players in their efforts to see the last two minutes of added time out. It looks like York players stayed focused, while Rochdale players kind of joined in the celebrations. Then for Rochdale, it all came crashing down!😏

Well, Liverpool in 4th place......who'd have thunk it! Some tough games coming up though so a real test ahead with lots of injuries in the squad.

Nice to see left to manage Stuart Maynard can do a good job. In contrast to the barking head coach and director of recruitment other clubs have.Means too often the head coach has too many donkies to work with, aka his time at Notts.

Hardly "heartbreak" for Rochdale, well the players maybe but the pitch invaders are idiots who deserve little if any sympathy. What they were thinking is beyond me, and I'd be mighty hacked off if I was the owner.

What a finish coming up for the play off final place,Wrexham,Hull and an outsider Derby.I thought Leeds were mediocre today.Better to lose 1-0 to Chelsea rather than be humiliated before the world against City.

Great atmosphere at the London Stadium yesterday.
When Tottenham scored then Everton equalized we were back in the relegation zone for four minutes but thankfully "old timer" Callum Wilson who loves scoring against Everton came though with the winner.
Pressure what pressure! 🥠

Everton are our bogey team too. A few years ago someone compiled a list of every league team showing the clubs they had their best and worst records against. Everton were our worst, Leicester City were our best.

It still surprises me, I thought Liverpool and Man Utd had a very poor and shaky start to the season...and yet their league positions dont tell that story at all ?

Such is the twisted narrative.

The Liverpool story is that they aren't as good as last season, which is pretty hard to replicate, and the Salah side circus has been a distraction.

Man United are only just behind Man City in the league since Carrick took over.

If the season had been played backwards it would all be about form dropping off and bottling.

There's got to be a story somewhere and it's mostly out of Phil McNulty's posterior.

iirc ManU we're in 8th before Carrick took over, they done very well since.
