Fair play to Daniel Farke,.... he seems like a decent guy.

He looks like he smells of stale beer chewing tobacco and worse.

Bugger Arsenal ladies lost in the semi of the WCL. So now I decide do I bin off Oslo, go anyhow or use the BH weekend to go elsewhere!

I won't be able to get a ticket now as a neutral

Fingers crossed, but Budapest at the end of the month could be nice... :becool: (if we get there with the men's team then zero ticket availability unless you're a corporate sponsor)

Oslo in May should be pretty nice though - long, long evenings - sun setting around 10pm. Pricey though, so unless Norway holds some sort of fascination in itself... Personally, I'd use a long weekend to go to Belgium and drink beer, but that's just me

Of course, there's also a bit of cycling going on in the Italian alps and Milan that weekend, if that particular weekend is the one you've got booked off.

Newport County made it tough on my father-in-laws dodgy heart but stayed up. Lucky they didn’t have to rely on one of the other teams in the drop zone losing as none did in the end. Saved a penalty early in the second half which was crucial then scrambled an equaliser after 75 minutes to get out of the bottom two again having not looked likely to score until then. That was the turning point with Barrow tiring and County finding some much needed energy before scoring a decent quality winner. Ended up fifth from bottom, don’t know what the panic was 😂

Strange one with Newport, a few years back they were in the promotion mix each season and seem to have really dropped off the last couple of seasons.

I follow their scores but don’t really support them (I take my father-in-law when his usual companion is away). It feels like most years they get a good start, look like they’re in the promotion race, then fall apart in the second half of season. This season they just never got going and were in the relegation zone for about half of all games. They won 3 of their last 4 but the others in danger also got results so they never got a margin. They dropped a lot of points in the final 10 minutes of matches and struggled to score in the first half of the season.

And so onto the farce of the play offs.
Millwall v Hull with a 10 point difference is the clear hugely unfair example this season.

Others are relative tight.
Southampton v Middlesbrough with one goal betten them
Stockport v Stevenage and Bradford v Bolton have 2 point differences
Salford v Grimsby is a 3 point difference.
Notts v Chesterfield is a 1 point difference

Championship final should plainly be Millwall v Southampton or Middlesbrough.
League 1 Stockport v Bradford
League 2 will probably be Salford v Chesterfield as Notts only ever go up in playoffs when they finish in the top play off spot. A Notts v Grimsby final would be interesting kit wise, would both have to change?
