The poorest Celtic side I've seen in some time have somehow ended the season with a league and cup double. If they hadn't fannied about with Wildfried Nancy they'd probably have sealed the league earlier than the last game of the season, that was a seriously weird appointment.

I can't say I've ever seen Montreal play, but for someone who had a reputation for possession based football he didn't show that in Scotland.

Be interesting to see who they appoint next, because O'Neill doesn't want to stay on, although they might make him Director of Football.

Dull win. Big rush coming up to the bookies with relegation bets.

Suspect the O'Neill factor played a big part in it. Has always appeared to be able to get more out of average players.

Probably for the best. The Hull owner was already touting legal action, should they have lost. I think this makes things less complicated.

Given its the norm in cup games that if the winning team is subsequently thrown out the losing team takes their place they would have no case. Was looking forward to Boro going up, Hulls legal action failing and instead getting a points reduction for bringing the game into disrepute.

What a farce! Dull City go up with 73 points, which is 3 wins and a draw less than 3rd placed Millwall. Dull's chairman was mouthing off before the game today, threatening legal action if his team didn't make the Premiership. Hull City to take legal action if they lose Championship play-off final - BBC Sport https://share.google/BP6VLLRBIXhrG3UHY Why?! He really does think his club had a divine right to be promoted, despite them only just making it into the play offs! Here's hoping Dull City come straight back down, the poxy @#*ts!!!🤨👎

One seems to be protesting rather too much. Other than your good self and some folk down south I don’t think any one would have welcomed Millwall in the Premier League.

If you think the system in the English Championship is bad, you'll have conniptions over what we do in Scotland...

4th plays 3rd for the right to play 2nd who then earns the right to play 11th from the top flight. It's drawn out and favours the top flight side, because the Championship sides are knackered, and in some cases only semi professional.

In the 13 years since it's been a thing, I think the Championship sides have only prevailed a couple of times, once against Killie, which was vaguely embarrassing.

Its the unfairness of the highest placed team in the "playoffs" not being automatically promoted. Either scrap them or give the higher placed teams x goals start in the semis depending on points gained subject to some limit.
Whilst I would like see Notts promoted tomorrow the club so far has only even been promoted through the playoffs when they have finished in the highest placed playoffs
place so fully expect Salford to win.

Shout out to Harry Kane who scored a hat trick for Bayern yesterday as they wrapped up the German title. That brings his total to 61 goals this season, and an incredible 146 in 147 matches for the club. We're not talking about some Mickey Mouse league either, so I doubt if there has been a more prolific goalscorer in the game's history.

He's got a ways to go I reckon. Messi and Ronaldo (7) must be higher, in proper leagues too, not the ones where they're easing out retirement.

Not to take anything away from Kane, because he's seriously impressive. I wonder what would have happened if he'd stayed at Spurs...
