I really admire people who do this. The commitment to attend qualifiers etc to get the necessary "points" whilst still saving an awful lot of money to go to the actual tournament is very impressive. Hope they have a great time.

There have been some very unexpected results so far, with the traditional "Giants" of the game finding the going far harder than expected. I wonder if we could end up with an unexpected winner, like happened with Greece at the 2004 Euros?

With such a long tournament you would think that the experienced big teams will last the course, although if England don't win it (which I am not expecting them to!) then it would be nice to see a new winner but I think it is unlikely. I have a feeling the Dutch will be there or thereabouts, I know everyone is tipping Japan as the dark horse but I think the USA are. Not to win, but to get to the last 8 and potentially even last 4. Morocco played some very nice stuff and should really have put Brazil to bed by half time, could they possibly be a first ever African nation to make a final?
