In what way? Without EUFA nations Infantino doesn't have a product to sell in Europe. Google says the total population of the 55 EUFA nations is 940 million, almost ⅛ of the world population. That's a lot of TV sets.

Where would be the European interest in African nation A v South American nation B? The TV companies and advertisers will quickly realise without EUFA nations income will be hugely reduced thus reducing fees FIFA can expect and so reducing the potential profits to investors.

It's all about money and money will decide the final outcome.

Infantino's idea is some short term added cash which will reduce future income to the game. Hugely detrimental.

FIFA sit on something like £20bn, perhaps Infantino might distribute a big chunk of that.
