3 defenders all had that in their field of vision long before the keeper released the ball. They should have shouted* at him to either hold onto it and force the striker back on the pitch , or just hoof it.

Its a silly mistake. the keeper should have looked around first.

Whilst is was disappointing to lose as a Boro fan, losing to a Mowbray team softens it a bit.
I gather that despite taking the lead and dominating possession we didn't create the best chances, so Blackburn deserved the points.

You're correct. You dominated possession but didn't really create clear cut chances, largely due to very determined defending from Rovers. We created 5 - 6 great opportunities but didn't take them. We don't have a quality striker.

Boro will do well, you looked good. The last 20 - 25 minutes I had that nervous sick feeling in the pit of my stomach........that's not meant to happen in August!
