That was one of the nicest films i've ever seen, wonderful. British creativity at it's very best.

It was very good - the kids have both read the book a few times (and so have I)....

My kids loved the book and this animation stayed pretty true to it. As said, Robbie Coltrane as the Gruffalo, I think Tom Wilkinson (Gerald from The Full Monty) was the fox, John Hurt was the Owl, Rob Brydon was the snake and James Corden as the mouse. Pardon me for being old-fashioned but it was exactly the sort of thing that should be broadcast on Christmas Day, if there isn't a handy new Wallace And Gromit adventure to show. Trouble is they peaked with The Wrong Trousers
