Wasn't sure if it was wanted or not.

Glasgow Celtic were/maybe still are sponsored by C.R. Smith, so for years, they always played with

'C.R. SMITH'

On their strips, so, 'C.R.'... Celtic... C.R. Smith Windows... Windows!

Even as a non football fan, that is great advertising! 😆

To be honest, I'm not really fussed about the cumulative scores. The Guardian quiz was done for ages without scores before Classic took it upon himself to being the number cruncher anyway

CR Smith sponsored Celtic's shirts between 1984 (their first ever shirt sponsor, also did Rangers at the same time to avoid having half the city boycott them!) and 1991, and then again between 1993 and 1997. Their current shirt sponsors are Dafabet (front of shirt) and Magners Cider (back).

Pretty sure I saw it more recently than that, but maybe that's just because it is embedded in my brain when it comes to Celtic now, like a Pavlovian reaction 😆😊😊

I know what you mean. In my mind, Arsenal are still sponsored by JVC, Man United by Sharp, Liverpool by Crown Paints, etc.
