I caught a bit of the sisters the other night. The best bit at the market when they were looking for some fruit to make a dessert was talking to the stall holder about the figs and asking the really in depth question, 'are they nice?'. Disappointed that his reply was a simple yes as it would have been far more entertaining if he'd said they tasted like sh!t and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!
I love watching Floyd- I don't think I'd like to eat much of his food but he is so entertaining. Also love watching the Barefoot Contessa because her mannerisms make me laugh out loud. Poor Geoffrey!

Sounds like a cue for my Floyd anecdote...
A friend of mine once spent about an hour and a half waiting at one of his many doomed restaurants before the man himself boomed through the swing doors declaring: 'Sorry, sorry, sorry everybody, can't cook tonight, far too pissed', then staggered around the room depositing a bottle of very good champagne on each table before disappearing back into the kitchens. A true one-off, and in the best possible way.
