Rule number 1 - Hand wash your bike - Pressure Washers are bad news - bearing seals are designed to stop mud and water getting in at relatively low pressure, not at 100 PSI or what ever these run at... bit like never pressure wash your engine bay on a car....

Argh - I'd get checking everything this weekend...

Or get one with a vario-lance that reduces the pressure.

After mtb ing we'd carefully pressure wash our bikes at the garage to get the worst off and then wash each other down with the remaining time .
