You could of course scrub, scrub and scrub away, even scrubbing the so called non-stick off the non stick pans.

...or

Squadge a load of fairy all over, add hot water and waste time doing nothing somewhere else. Come back later, an indeterinate time and then easily shift what was the baked on stuff away with considerably less overall effort than scrubbing and not ruining the non stick [1]

Of course letting the pans soak can be a metaphor for anything else or taken literally. What are your soaking the pan equivalents?


[1] Non stick is a con. If it is non stick then how do they stick the non sticky stuff? There is of coarse this famous photo.... I'd have let that soak ! :okay:

Its only non-stick on one side, as your picture shows. They've put it on wrong side out.
