If you enjoyed "The Killing" you may enjoy "Spiral", new series (3 I believe), French, starting on BBC1 on Saturday.

Indeed, it's series three of 'Spiral', if it's as good as the first two, and I have little doubt it will be, absolutely superb. A Gallic version of 'The Wire' or 'The Shield'.

Oh, and I also really enjoyed the first 2 series of Spiral so I'm looking forward to the third.

I mostly agree with that. There is a sorry lack of ability at the Beeb; good stuff from them is exceptional nowadays.

I thought for a minute this was the U.S made 'The Killing' airing on AMC. That is also good, early days yet though it's only shown about five episodes.
