I've been told buy an ex bus driver, that once you've got your bus licence you're able to drive a bendy bus, there is no bendy bus specific licence, unlike HGV's, my daughter is taking her class 2 which will allow her to drive anything over 7.5 tonne and rigid, if she wanted to drive artics she would need to take her class 1, I would argue that a bendy bus behaves very much like an artic and would take a fair bit of skill to drive safely.

Except the trailing carriage wheels aren't in the same relative position as on an artic so it won't cut a corner like an artic, and it is any case 'computer controlled' to stay in line so that it doesn't, but then wagon and drag trailers don't cut corners either - no computer needed.
Be an awfully long overtake once comitted that's for sure!

Bendy bus behaves nothing like an artic, more like a trailer, I would imagine the drivers are trained rather then let loose in one, if you ever visit York, use the park and ride at Rawcliffe Bar, the drivers get bendi buses down streets you’ll think impossible to get down
