I would write to the LBS state your concerns and ask for a full refund. The serivce you have recieved is totally unacceptable. Its alot of money you have spent - If you recieve no reply then take it up with trading standards.
I also think the Trek would want to know - this shop is giving their bikes a bad name copy them in on the letter, it might further focus the LBS minds.
