There's a long history of designers arrogantly or naively imagining that their 5 second brain wave will overturn a century of incremental trial and error and refinement. Phil Starck, Guigaro, Sinclair, Mark Newson. All failed dismally. So will this piece of crap. If he had bothered to research the subject he would have found one or two very similar pieces of crap which also completely failed to have any impact on the market.
