Sorry but I hate golf

Nope I'm not excited about it...

oh yea. Carlin had it right, NSFW -

Could be a straight toss-up between Rory McIlroy and Bubba Watson. But there are a hell of a lot of good golfers out there, so anyone who has a great four days could surprise the field/experts.

That was a bit of a sitting-on-the-fence answer.

I'll plump for Bubba.

Something seems to happen to Bubba at the Masters. I wouldn't be surprised if he took a 3rd green jacket!

If I could pick someone is like to see win, it'd be Sergio. I'd cry if that happened.

I've backed Matsuyama 66/1 each way I love the masters
How does an each way bet on golf work?

If, say, they offer quarter odds on top three and two players tie with next best score (ie. second best score) and your player has the third best score with maybe one other, is he fourth or third or fifth or what?

Most will do each way on the top 5, if say your player comes joint 5th with one other player you would get a half of what you would have got if your player was in 5th place on his own.
3 players joint 5th and you'd get a third etc..

If your player wins you get win and place money, if he comes anywhere from 2nd to 5th you get the place only.

I am going for Adam Scott or Ryan Palmer, with an each way bet on Lee Westwood :okay:
I enjoy watching golf on TV, I think it's a throw back to my younger days! Anyway, I don't think Rory will do it, and I agree Bubba (the most unpopular player on the tour*) will do it, making him even more unpopular!

*This is actually a FACT, a few days ago they did a poll asking all the players on tour who they wouldn't help in a fight. Bubba was the player least likely to get any help in a fight, and strangely he even voted for himself!
"It is unclear whether the results are down to Watson’s unpopularity or his knowledge of deadly martial arts"

He could be the toughest player on tour.
