Is it me or is the BBC showing'the tiger woods show'? Seems we all get to see every shot from the world no1 , and I have yet to see former open champion Todd Hamilton.(had a great start)
Ken Brown dont stop when asked 'how many putts today then ken'? or 'oh 'what a great shot from the pine straw'.
Give us a brake bbc , there are great players trying to win this thing too you no.As I have interests in Fisher,Allenby & Phil, I hope 1 of em gets paired with woods for rd 4 so i see how theyr doing.

Give us a break Beeb, and don't show golf at all.

I would be more interested in the footage of a freshy painted wall and its transition to arridness.

I'll tell you what the BBC should do....they should employ one of their fairway reporters to point out any twats who shout "In the hole!!!!!" and get someone very large to go and smack them in the gob.

'You're the man!' is equally annoying!

I'm gonna have to go and watch the golf now to hear this phenomenon.

If you play golf and it's your hobbie then it's interesting, if not it's boring........bit like any sport on the TV really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I play a bit, not 'full on' though. A couple of hundred balls down the driving range, or an evening 9 holer with mates from work. Nice relaxing walk, but I wouldn't want to subject the populus of the country to watch it.

I agree!

I'd rather cycle for four hours than play golf for four hours.

But there is the social aspect with mates, colleagues etc. that makes it a 'fun' game!

Watching it on TV, especially from the States, is not too exciting.

Watching anything on TV, primarily from the States, is not at all exciting.

Good job my post is a short one, otherwise I'd have had to break for a word from our sponsors....;)

I just think watching a bike race unfold, with all the tactics involved, is exciting to watch, whereas watching me ride round is akin to 'paint drying' in comparison.

Apart from the fact top golfers are a little more 'accurate' than me, I can't tell the difference?

I hit the ball, it goes a long way. It eventually finds it's way to the green, and into the hole.

If anything, my game is more entertaining, as you NEVER know what's going to happen next!

With Tiger and Colin, you know the ball from the tee is going in the hole in a couple of shots.

With me, you don't know if the clubhouse windows will still be intact, or whether the club captain's Jag will have a new shot-peined finish.

Now THAT would make good telly.

Most definitely!

Working around 'golfers' all day, I've seen some really bizarre things:

cheating
fighting
arguments
'psyching'
divorces almost happening

not to mention some extraordinary shots, bounces, hits etc. ;)
