So time for a little winter sun, just for a week.

I'm trying to decide where I would like to be at the moment ... I don't normally end up at the Travel Agent at the last minute .. rather I would go camping at short notice .. but not at this time of year... so let me peruse some holiday brochures and ponder my possible destination....

After a bit of thought I decided on Northern Norway ... kept typing in various different words and ending up with the flight rerouted via various different destinations until one of them ended up vaguely where I wanted.

I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights. Just don't tell me that I've got here at the wrong time of year.

About 30 degrees, bright sun, fresh breeze, altitude is 5250 ft so low humidity.

Saturday afternoon 6:10 though and I've just finished a morning's work, lunch with agent and the whole afternoon writing up notes so it's no holiday. Might go to the gym and do a few kms on the exercise bike now followed by a sauna. Off tomorrow 1.00 to Dar es Salaam.
