Considering I am now taking a serious interest in cycling, and I have now had my roadie for two weeks which I absolutely adore, I thought it was time to follow tradition and name it.
I however am rubbish with names, so I was hoping some of you would be able to give me some inspiration.

For those of you who have not met her/him, it is a Raleigh Airlite 400 and is my first road bike.

I was originally thinking of Mac (or Macintosh) as it is a white, sleek looking and a very expensive (in terms of what I am used to) bicycle, just like the Mac computer, however it isn't really a bike name?

Any inspiration?
What do you think of Mac?

Thanks

It's a she: her name is Art, short for Artemis - when searching for a cool name, ancient Greek is the thing!

I've got a boy and a girl. The boy is just called Giant. Not only is it his make, it's also a fairly apt description. The girl is called Lelly as she was purchased for the London - Edinburgh - London (LEL) ride next year. Lelly is titanium with far more graceful lines than Giant hence she's a girl.

Never knew bikes had fixed genders
I always assumed my MTB tyres are male, seeing as they are Nobby Nics.. but on second thoughts it could be short for Nicola.

Anyway back to topic... how about (North) Carolina?

I was born/grew up in Nottingham, and everyone had Raleighs.. so they were names a plenty, memories of which have faded through time
