The Lottery is going up to £2 a ticket on Saturday 5th October.
A mate and I have put a tenner a month in, and done the same numbers for years and have racked up a stupendous loss overall...
There's no way we're going to waste £20. That's it. The end. I hope Camelot lose the contract for being greedy.

Mind you, last Saturday, we had enough left from our contribution to buy a few Lucky Dips and we won £10 that we've bought 5 tickets for the first £2 draw on the 5th.

Same here - not doing the lottery now it is £2 a ticket. They are just taking the p***.
No need at all for them to increase the cost of the tickets apart from sheer greed.

Lets hope lots of people stop buying tickets.

I stopped playing when they doubled the minimum amount you were allowed to transfer to your online account to a tenner.

I started buying 3 a week a few years ago on the insistence of SWMBO. However looking at the prize changes, I can see that dropping to one a week now.
