Cycling in the sun

The appropriate speed for a cycle path will vary depending on the path and the conditions. If you can see well ahead and there are no pedestrians ahead then you are able to go faster, however should you meet either pedestrians, dogs, can't see well ahead or there are concealed entrances to the path then you need to reduce your speed right down - similar to in a car really except you can say hello to those you meet:smile:.

IMO you should be able to travel at what speed you feel is good on a cycle track like in a car on the road, I don't think the speed the OP was going was excessive.

20MPH on a cycle track is good going, would of been more amazing if you where going up hill tho ;)
