Jaguars were with few exceptions (mostly during the Leyland years) lithe and graceful. That is neither. I agree with others: the proportions are all wrong. Above and below the window sills look as though they've been taken from two completely different cars, then welded together. And the arse is like a Peugeot without the panache. Sad.

It actually looks fantastic in the flesh!!!

A guy up the road from me is a delivery driver/chauffer and has the new XJR for two weeks - he let me have a go and WOW!! What a motor!

Wife has said that if we ever win the lottery I can buy one (she's fussy as hell about car deign) so I just need to start entering the lottery now

From the pictures I have seen it's a gaping munter. I'll reserve final judgement until I see one in the flesh but I strongly suspect that the Quatroporte will retain it's crown as the most gorgeous more door.
