My proverbial has 3 months to stop being painful, or it gets the kick (chop). Great.
Blimey, I thought you were recovering. They really made a mess of that ...

Good luck!

The specialist said if no better in three months it gets the chop. Just got to hope the scar tissue doesn't keep swelling up and being painful. Will be out on the bike as much as possible to see if it does improve. It's nothing more serious than painful scar tissue, but it is excruciating at times.

Nothing yet, just a manically busy first day back at work, I was that knackered tonight I fell asleep on the settee earlier on.

My business trip to Zim, Zambia and DRC seems to be falling apart; nothing is going right, nobody is ready and there's been fighting in Kinshasa. Might have to postpone until March.

I came downstairs on new years day to find my elderly cat having a seizure on the kitchen floor and had to get it put to sleep. The vets bill will be a treat for calling one out. Still it wasn't well and a blessing to be honest. Things should hopefully improve on that start

On the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, I was asked if I would like to join a swingers club. It was not my partner who asked the question.

I politely declined, but think I turned down the best offer I am going to get all year. ;0)

Went out on Audax bike yesterday, and the front mech fell apart. It seems on closer inspection that a bolt that connects the actual moving part, the parallelagram I think it is called, has come out from the clamp around the seat tube. I was able to stay in the middle ring and get home though. Ho Hum

Try a buisness trip to Darlington. The kebab shops' ownership change on a weekly basis, the cycle routes still aren't ready and the Friday night fights on High Row after the pubs chuck out are legendary. Far more exciting unstable than Africa.

my knee is still a good way from being right, seems to have been botched previously & my previous consultant that did the botching seems very reluctant to release my case notes and previous scans to the new one so he can go in fully informed as to what is new & old damage.
