The no-so-serious cyclists?..

So where are the bikes of the 'serious cyclists' today? With one or two exceptions they're not in the bike sheds. Also there's a distinct lack of mountain bikes in the sheds, despite these conditions being the one time they're actually are the most appropriate bike to use. No most bikes in the sheds are the old dutch style bikes!... Am the only one who finds this kind of ironic?

No,im looked on as more of a loony at work for cycling in yesterday,but with the standard of driving out there im tempted to agree.

I'm the only bike here today too, MTB with big fat knobblies did a grand job this morning, it was great fun!

There were a handfull of others on the way into Ipswich but most took the car (Judging by the miles of tailbacks I sailed (slipped) past!

Curious. I've just popped to the bikesheds to check the numbers as I am normally the first in so didn't notice any different this morning. Last week there were between 4 and 8 other bikes, today mine is on its own. Scaredy Cats.

Hey! I got my snazzy new winter jacket and everything! Just the dentists is totally out of the way for cycling to (and ten miles of out of the way-ey ness), and didn't want to turn up all sweaty. Been away since Thursday, too - want to ride

Unfortunately I am one of those sofies this week - Had a nagging head/throat and now chest thingy (with high temps) which has incapacitated.
Soon as I can it's back on me roadie with winter tyres or get the trek 6000 out like last year in 2' snow and about and temps down to -15 (and mine was the onlybieon site - Bring it on...

Still a decent amount of bikes on our racks, including mine. The serious MTBer had come in on his ice bike, and the most serious cyclist of all was still on his slicked-up Madone.
