....sad memories for me! Grew up in Norwich so at school everyone had Canaries kit or Leeds...Billy Bremner kit......except for me! My Dad got the cheapest kit he could find for me - a blue top with a yellow collar. Each week we would get Shoot because at the start of each season they produced tables of all the teams strip........ who was I playing for? Someone exotic? Eventually Shoot had worked down to division three and finally the mystery was solved...... Shrewsbury - home ground.............Gay meadows! Children (and parents) can be so cruel!

When I bought my present house it had a burgundy bathroom suite - horrible, it always looked soapy and waterstained no matter what I did. The bath is still acting as a water butt on the local allotments, and I've never seen another one

My house had a burgandy bathroom suite and gold taps when I moved in in 1986. It lasted for a few years until MrsP got fed up with it.
