I finished at 12, back to work on the 2nd. Hoorah!

This last week has just been one thing after another, so I'm even more glad to finish thatn I was last year, when we'd had a month of snow to contend with.

Maz, have you ever heard Flanders and Swann's Song of Patriotic Prejudice?



On the CD I have, the intro talks about the lack of a national song for England, and how daft 'There'll always be an England' is as a song - "Of course there'll always be an England. There'll always be a North Pole, unless some clown goes and melts it!" Sadly prophetic!

Finished at 5 today- off until the 5th.Was a bit weird to be the last one left in a huge office. I'd swap every minute of holiday gladly right now though to be back on the bike again, as I get bloomin painful leg muscle cramps from time to time that make cycling (and even walking) impossible for days on end. So bah humbug from Newmarket! (Not really - happy Christmas to all - and I'll try and cheer up when I get me legs back).

I finished job #1 yesterday at 5pm. No more of that until 4 Jan!!!!!!
Job #2 is at a well known concert venue here in Brum so i'm working the 24th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 31st. Mucho fun! Should be quite good fun actually, so it's not too bad. At least i'm not running from one t'other like a mad thing for a while.

Finished at 16.30 this afternoon not back til 08.30 on Wednesday then in for three days then off until the following Tuesday.

I'm technically not finished at all...working 8-4 wednesday, thursday and Friday, then back to work as normal on the Tuesday.

Yay! Finished at 5.00pm and will not be returning to my enslavement for a whole 16 days. Bliss! The fire is lit, I'm quaffing mulled wine and scoffing Christmas Haribo...

Sigh.. Sat at work reading forums with half an hour to go! Yes, at work until 8pm Christmas eve.. Not actually done any work since 4pm mind..

Finished at midnight last night, and have the next week off for the first time in years. Woohoo indeed. Took the family out for lunch, then a panto this evening, and am looking forward to being over the 13mu/100mg limit for the first time for a long, long time! I don't go back until the 4th.

Meh, I've been off since 8th of November when I lost my job, still no work in sight so I guess I'll be "enjoying" this extended break for quite a while longer yet.

Oh no Millfield Theatre we always go there, great little theatre , brilliant this year Beauty & beast was best I have been too.
