Tis the night before Christmas and all through the forum...









...I'm just back from hospital visiting. Gave out chocolates and pulled crackers with the nurses. Quiet night in tonight I think, although I have an invite to a party/meal ...but I want to go to midnight mass at edburton church later and say merry Xmas to the family vicar, so ill give the party a miss.

Ham has been baked, last minute shopping done, last few cards, and the ones mis-delivered by the postal people, dropped off. TLH and I are off to St John's RC in Horsham for the 18:00 Family Mass, the other services are a bit too High Church these days for our taste, after the younglings will go out and get very very drunk, each to their own, they seem to love a really bad hangover on a Christmas Day, whilst we will have a few friends round for snacks and a few drinks. Then the turkey will be stuffed and the cooking timetable sorted out.

I'm going to do an hour on the exercise bike as it's too windy to venture out on the road. Then it's tea,a snooze,a shower then off down the pub to sample a few liquors!Wrapping the presents can wait till the morning!

We're about to eat, then off to friends for a drink before rolling over to Midnight Mass at 11.

I think Im going to go out on the town after all...it's a dinner dance thing on the sea front...but I'll be gone by 10.30 to get to the church in time....watching scrooge on tv....writing a new song on my Takamine 2000 Ltd edition Guitar eating cheesy snacks and drinking diet coke. Tomorrow Im back at the hospital to collect my Dad who has wangled a day pass until 6pm so he can have christmas lunch here, but he has to be back for treatment at 6....
...the Range had trees for £4.99 that it couldnt sell yesterday at £30...I felt sorry for the trees who died in the vain hope of being included in some weird and mixed up human tree sacrifice ceromony. Tonights dinner party involves avoiding a certain person who seems to feel I am her chosen one, even though I have told her I am not in anyway interested....so I need to sneak in...hide around th eback of the xmas tree and escape before I'm spotted through the bottom of a Pint glass
