I have an old Dyna-Tech 500 (late 80's green/white model) which was given me, that I had every intention of restoring. I have found however some quite noticeable rust on the frame which wasn't immediately clear (only when you scrape the bubbles)
I'm sorely tempted to just strip it completely, and use the RX100 kit (including the white biopace chainset) which is in amazing shape considering, and stick them on my Virtuoso The '07? (red) model
The frame at 23" is far too big for me, so any resto would be with a view to sale..
But I'm kind of torn...I don't like cannibalising something that is pretty original.
