I had a quick walk round the garden today. A bit of a panic. Daffodils are beginning to shoot as is my clematis. I just hope we dont get any frost.

This could be a nightmare year for fruit.

It'll all work out in the end, it always does. I am at present half way through cutting the grass in New Court in college. There are daffs poking heads out in various beds. roses in flower, Rudbeckias too.
Plants are resilient. If it gets cold they'll shut up shop.

Still got sweet peppers ripening in my west facing lean to greenhouse. Toms have just about had it though.

Will leave in a moment to walk dog. See what wild mushrooms are still about (if any).

Fairy Ring champignon, Yellow Stainer (poisonous for the genetically inclined). Plus 3 fungi I couldn't identify, a lot for this time of year.
