On the Today programme, er, today, they talked to an expert from the zoo. All through the report, there was a loud squawking in the background, which the expert said was the parrots.

Pandas, parrots, is Edinburgh Zoo arranged alphabetically? Aarvarks to Zebu? If they get a new animal, do all the others after it in the alphabet have to move down, so the Zebu are always getting a new enclosure?

The publicists at Edinburgh zoo it seems will stop at nothing to get people to come through the doors. Firstly the pregnant(or not)Panda, and now the first captive Koala in the UK to give birth. What next? A geneticly modified woolly mammoth???

they said on the 20th if nothing appeared within the next 7 days she was a big fat faker!
