The Proclaimers Live.......Brilliant!!!

Maybe not to everyones taste but....
We went to see them on Friday.....they were (as per title) brilliant.
Thier vocal range is amazing.....as good as their recordings.
They were non stop for the whole 90 minutes and were really sweating at the end.
The whole audience joined in at times.....but not to the detriment of the 'gig'.
Anybody else been to see them ?

Yep. They are fab live and so much more than the 500 Miles that everyone knows them for.

If you've not seen it, Sunshine on Leith is a cracking film.

We did see it and imo you are correct....a cracking film.

Yep, first time supporting The Housemartins many many years ago, they were superb then and just as good the couple of times since I've seen them. Been a while now though, glad to know they are still as good as ever.

Saw them a few years back, won tickets for the local newspaper - brilliant night out, probably one of the best gigs I've been too - local lads of course (Hibees but I'll forgive them that), in fact I see one of them walking through Edinburgh at least once a week, I'm just never sure which one he is!

I saw them at "V" Festival a few years ago and they were just what was needed on a sunny afternoon with post first night hangover. Got the crowd up and out of their slumber and a party for an hour. Was one of the highlights of the weekend for me

I have sung Sunshine on Leith with The Proclaimers. Well, they were in the same crowd as me at a Hibs game and everyone was singing it...

I have stood next to Fish and sung it as well, I'm claiming that as a duo

Seen them 3 times. First time was at Liverpool uni probably back in '87-8.
Always loved them. Last time at Cambridge Junction we bumped into them out the back, very nice blokes.

I saw them a couple of years ago at Gawsworth. The performance was great, music good, but it was one song immediately after another. There was little or no interaction with the crowd, which I think is the mark of a good performance. It was almost as if they couldn't wait to get off.
