Wind is fundamentally unfair. If it blows in a 160° arc from behind, it helps, but any other direction - 200° in total - it hinders. So, 56% of winds are against you and only 44% help you.

15 min is a significant time-saving!! How far is your actual commute? On the rare occasion I get a tail-wind into work it saves me no more than a few minutes off an 18m route!
