Getting a blindside derailment by a lousy illness. Totally out of the blue in one 24 hour period.

Definitely live it large today as you never know what tomorrow might bring.

Sorry to hear that, I was diagnosed with CML when I was 16 (the Chronic version mainly affects older people, so I was something of a novelty to the Doctors). I had chemo and an Autonomous Stem Cell Transplant (which never really worked properly) and have been on Kinase Inhibitors for 20+ years, which keeps it under control.

Mine never got to the Acute stage though, so good luck!!

It's the opposite end of the spectrum from when you could go into the pub and not be accused of being under age. Not that we had any way to prove our age back when I might have (allegedly) been going into pubs when I was 16...

When I go to Superdrug they fast-track me straight to the bin behind the counter rather than have me post them individually into the slot.
