Anyone remember those tall things with chains hanging down and solid metal handles on them that swung round at high speed
at head height

I think you were supposed to hold the handle and run round then jump and swing on them

while shattering the skull of anyone in the way of the free handles


but we all survived!!
(well - those of us still here did - not sure about the rest!)

Last night I went to see a Blondie tribute band. The 20-something sound engineer had the vocals at the same level as the rest of the band. In the 1970s/80s they would have been far more prominent.
