I didn't realise that she had been through so many tragic moments in her life

I think her voice sounded so old because she lost control of her vocal cords after contracting Lyme's disease. She only got it back after surgery.

We do exactly that. Pretend we are too old to work that stuff out and can we have a physical menu. Works every time. Same ignoring the self service machines. Just go to counter and get served quicker.

Mini D #4 has a 6th form open evening coming up, and the school want us to reserve tickets using eventbrite.

I refused, because it's unnecessarily complicated, daft, stupid, and I dont want to give my details to Eventbrite, so when I got the email I picked up the phone and spoke to a human being.
