Anyone else watching this French series on Channel 4, Sunday nights?

It's not Twin Peaks but it's very good, kind of strange, spooky, all done a la France with much class and style.

I've no idea exactly what's going on yet but there's enough to keep me watching, good set of characters too including this very strange boy who seems to have the Grim Reaper following him around.

Yep been watching it, not quite as bonkers as Twin Peaks but I like the way it's been done. Didn't see the last one but will watch it on catch up tonight, I hope you at least get a clue about what's going on by the end of season one!

I have my suspicions/guesses about some of the characters, but do not want to spoil it for others.

I think it's brilliant

A bit surreal at times - you have to suspend your disbelief - but it's worth it to see something that's not a police procedural or a typical vampire/undead show.

I'm not quite sure what genre it is in fact, but it's terrific to watch.

Great music from Mogwai as well.

You mean that you have not already calculated the volume of water in the reservoir? How many loads of cement in conjunction with its "flop factor" will be needed to mend the dam?

Metaphor? Shrinking reserves above, dirty water below, flushing back up through drains and toilets, bringing back what was unconscious, that sort of thing?
