The Scottish Answer - The Campaigns

I don't want this to turn into a political or nationalist debate; no bigotry or slurs either way, and no personal opinions about the pro's and con's either way. Simply about the answer, given the way that 'Yes' and 'No' have executed their respective campaigns, does anyone want to take a shot at what the answer will be?

Not being a Scotsman and having no knowledge of natural or residual inclinations north of the border, I think it may well be a yes.

Where the vote takes place, in the safety of the polling booth, away from the confrontation of the bravehearts and feartiehearts, I predict a Better Together victory. For essentially random reasons, I've given a prediction of a 3% booth swing to the BTs.

It did occur to me that it was strange that there were 'YES' posters everywhere I went in the Highlands last week, rather than 'AYE'!

Polls, from what I've heard over here, seem to be trending toward yes, but sometimes the polls say one thing and the actual ballot another. In this, like all things, people have a tendency to tell the pollster what they think they want to hear. I see trends toward yes in the polls, but will the trend continue through next week? And will poll answers translate into actual votes? Weather may play a factor as well. A tough one to call, especially with National Identity and such issues on the line. I'm guessing it as an Aye, narrow as a dogs' front tooth.

What is this disease? There is a poll, due to be conducted, to find out which 'side' has the majority opinion on this issue next week. The poll will have a result. Whatever you think.
