You're all wasting your time.

He's running a pub near me. Do your research, I'm too mean to tell you.

Where's the TG track?

Where am I?

Come on - I'm not going to tell you - I want to see sheer hard work on this one.

They sacked Perry McCarthy in 2002 because he exposed himself as the stig in his Autobiography, if your local landlord is telling all the drinkers in his boozer then I cant imagine he would have kept the job long.

Sorry BT i think you may be telling porkies. :welcome:

History lesson there. This is the stuff of very recent times. And he hasn't told anyone, but I get my car serviced by someone who also happens to do the TG motors at the track.

Don't piss on my bonfire you - this is my one and only exposure to celebrity intrigue...

Excuse my scepticism BT, so now a mechanic that services your car once a year told you its the landlord of a local pub?:laugh::evil:

'IF' he knew, he would know it would be more than his job is worth to actually tell you. Sorry, but am pissing a waterfall on your bonfire! Feel free to name though and prove me wrong. :welcome:;)

More clues. Not the landlord. Bought the pub, stripped out and re-opened it. Doesn't exactly serve behind the bar covered in cheap gold chunky rings and watches.

It's not exactly a closely guarded secret in these parts, but then again, I live in Royston Vasey.

History? the 'white' stig has taken the same line round some key bends on the track for the last 7 years, a different line to all other F1 drivers (apart from one I think, maybe Jensen Button?). :welcome:;)

Come on give us a name. lol

Not sure when the rerun is but can watch it here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00lff2s/Top_Gear_Series_13_Episode_1_(new_series)/

I saw only one advert on TV about 2-3 weeks ago and that was it... but every sunday night at 8pm my 8 year old son asks me if top gear is on, so I check.

He isnt the only owner of one, there are a few of them, but they are all kept in Italy.
I know that there are 30 FXXs, housed at Maranello - I was reading the Top Gear magazine article from a few years ago only the other day (bogtime reading :welcome:), and it said that Schumacher had a special one in that it was black compared to all the other ones which were mostly red, with a handful of yellow and dark blue ones.

You must be talking about Julian Bailey because Ben Collins lives in Bristol

Great show yesterday...not just for the Stig stunt....(not sure how they can keep the FXX at the top of the board as it wasn't standard Stig doing the driving)....but also the Tornado/XK120/Black Shadow 'race'.

Also I don't think it conforms to the Power Lap rules - must be fully road going and able to get over a speed bump. I'm pretty sure it's safe on the speed bump bit, but not the road going - it's a track car like the Caparo T1.
