Well, after reading most of these comments I consider myself to be in a very fortunate position.

I work in the Centre of Canterbury so I get in early to avoid the traffic. I have a full set of (empty) changing rooms to use, showers etc, a boiler room where I can leave my towel to dry , a locker to keep kit in (polo shirts/tracksuit bottoms are our "suit"!) and an area next to our office where I can keep my bike safe and secure

Does pointing out that I have an en suite bathroom in my office count as bragging? I'm with Betty though. If I shower before I set off, use plenty of deo and a dab of sudocreme, I don't need to shower at work in the cooler months, as my ride in is all downhill.

Either nobody has been brave enough to tell me yet .. or I just cycle too slowly and wear bamboo clothing that isn't meant to and doesn't seem to go stinky.

In the thirty or so years since I came back to cycling I've never showered at work.

We don't have showers at work so I couldn,t have one there if I wanted to.
I am slightly confused with all this morning showers though, does that mean that all you lot go to bed dirty? I cycle 8 miles each way and would not think of going to bed without having a shower.

No shower at work so it's a strip wash, blast of deodorant and a boufant of the wig - all in a tiny wash room with no heating and a cold tiled floor.

It is very tempting in the cold weather to just get changed.

The showers in our office are just round the corner from my desk, which is very convenient for me! I don't shower when I come in on the Brompton, because that is a bike-train-bike job at a gentle pace for which I wear my office clothes. I do shower when I've cycled the whole distance, as that is 16 miles on a road bike at a reasonable speed and over a bit of a hill, after which I am sweaty and do need a shower (and a change out of my lycra).

Not strictly on topic but I once went to use the loo in an office block I was delivering to only to be confronted with the sight of a bloke in cycling shoes and jockstrap washing his a**e crack in the sink.
