I think it's probably more a case of Rockymountain coping, but best not to ask.

My first thought was 'That is terrible; poor MrsRM'.

My second thought, a few moments later, was 'This is where RM gets to carry out his duties under the "in sickness/for worse" clauses in his marriage vows'!

I hope the recovery goes well. Consider the holiday postponed rather than cancelled!

Oh dear god, huge sympathy to both of you. I almost don't want to ask, but how did she actually break her arms? Was it wrists? I just can't get my head around it, which might not be a bad thing.
