I hope she heals well - GWS mrs rocky
Canal & River Trust surely ?
I hate cracks in roads, I think I would move if they built a tram system near me.
Hope she is coping OK. Must be difficult reaching behind !

It brings a new meaning to.Darling i am going out to get plastered.

Please pass on my best wishes to her for a speedy and pain free recovery. I know what it is like after spending 13 years with my left wrist in plaster permanently and 11 ops that periodically had my entire left arm in plaster to the shoulder. Not fun. Those waterproof covers are worth every penny and I may be able to track down the person I lent mine to if you are interested - just not sure how long it would take. Plastic glasses/mugs/plates are also a worth while investment, less worry about breakages and the likes when you catch things accidentally or drop them - better them than the best china!

Just remember Denmark and the NSCR will still be there for another day/year.

What a terrible accident!! GWS Mrs RM :hugs:
A bicycle made for two with a back rest for Mrs RM might be one option for the summer .(I'm just trying to visualise the scene)

This is a semi-serious suggestion. I had a bit of an off a month or so before a tour a couple of years ago. I wasn't hurt anything like as badly as Mrs RM, but my shoulder still wasn't quite right when the time came, so we took our recumbents on the trip - no shoulder strength necessary. In fact, our trip took us up the North Sea Coast Route and into Denmark - and that flat country is perfect for recumbents. In the circumstances, we might make our tandem available to you RM.

I wish I'd had a recumbent years ago when I smashed a wrist (on an ice rink). It was over a year before I was anything like comfortable on a regular bike again.
